At the mouth of the Savannah River stands the Tybee Island Front Range Light, also known as Tybee (Knoll) Cut Front Range. Constructed in 1878, with a Sixth Order Fresnel lens housed in a 28-foot tall tower, this unusual beacon was built to replace the lightships that had been on station since 1848. This accurately rendered, handpainted resin replica includes its own history card and Certificate of Authenticity.
